Summary

As a Rope Access Technician at Over the Edge, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and success of our unique events. Based in the Chicago Illinois , you will utilize your skills in rope access and equipment handling to facilitate rappelling activities while maintaining a focus on safety and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Rigging/De-rigging of rope access systems for rappelling events.
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed during event operations.
• Conduct pre-event inspections of equipment and gear to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Assist participants during their rappel experience, providing guidance and support.
• Collaborate with event staff to coordinate logistics and ensure smooth operations.
• Perform regular maintenance on equipment and tools used during events.

Requirements

• Level 2 or 3 SPRAT/IRATA
• Strong knowledge related to rigging and equipment operation.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $35.00 - $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 12 per week
