Position Summary

Tacten is seeking Level 3 Rope Access Technicians to support our client site in Fort McMurray, AB. As a Rope Access Level 3 Technician, you will be a key member of our team responsible for executing high-altitude tasks with precision, efficiency, and safety. Leveraging your advanced skills and expertise in rope access techniques, you will play a crucial role in overseeing complex operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and delivering exceptional results for our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Have a comprehensive knowledge of advanced rescue techniques
  • Be able to demonstrate all the skills and knowledge required of a Level III Rope Access Technician
  • Be conversant with relevant work techniques
  • Assist other technicians as required
  • Perform specific job functions as they relate to work orders
  • Ensure operational safety of all equipment

Requirements

  • IRATA Level 3 Certification
  • First Aid certification
  • CSO or BSO or CSTS-2020
  • Journeyman ticketed would be an asset
  • ESC or OSSA Confined Space Monitor and Entry would be an asset
  • Ability to maintain positive working relations with clients
  • Exceptional safety and quality awareness 
  • Ability to solve problems and manage time effectively
  • Self-motivated and capable of working at a high technical and performance level
