JOB SUMMARYâ¯â¯
The Associate Instructor for Programs is a passionate, motivated individual who loves to work with and teach people of all ages, provides a great customer experience, and has a desire to grow in the climbing community. The position involves top rope belaying for participants and facilitating games/activities. It may also include teaching adult introductory belay, bouldering or technique skill classes, and/or leading classes, all while managing risks for participants during our various programs. There is potential to train other instructors on youth focused classes based on gym need and appropriate training. Part-time instructors are primarily working with adults for 2-4 hours per class, depending on the program.⯠At least some prior climbing experience is required, but we are excited to help individuals who are excited to learn, grow as climbers and instructors!â¯â¯
