Window Rigger/Sawyer

Quanex is looking for a Window Rigger/Sawyer to join our team located in Arlington, Texas.

In this role, you will be responsible for working cooperatively with team members to cut and assemble door screen frames to changing specifications, using a computer-driven measuring device.

What’s attractive about the Window Rigger/Sawyer position?

• Hours of Operation: 6 am to 2:30 pm (may extend to 3:30pm)
• Weekends off!

What Success Looks Like: 

• Monitors product constantly to ensure quality standards are being met. 
• Maintains the work area in a neat and orderly condition in compliance with 5S standards. 
• Follows safety procedures and guidelines; and notifies others of existing or potential safety issues. 
• Assists in other work areas when workload permits or requires. 
• Promotes teamwork by cooperating and supporting co-workers. 
• Thoroughly complete all documentation, such as production reports.   
• Assemble various components based on customer specifications and quality standards.

Your Credentials: 

• Ability to use hand tools including tape measure air drill, pneumatics fixed straight-cut saw.

• Ability to follow both written and verbal directions.

• Ability to perform repetitive work requiring high levels of concentration.

• Must have flexibility to work occasional overtime or additional shift
  
  

The salary for this position starts at $16 per hour.
