Job Overview
Straight Cuts Tree Service is searching for a dedicated and experienced Operations Manager / Lead Arborist to drive operational excellence in our field services. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who is passionate about arboriculture, possesses strong leadership abilities, and thrives in a dynamic environment. As the senior figure on the crew, you'll oversee daily job site operations, ensure safe work practices, maintain high service standards, and mentor team members.

Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To:
- Operate and supervise the use of bucket trucks and climbing equipment safely and efficiently
- Lead and manage crews on-site, ensuring all tasks are completed to company standards
- Coordinate with team members to streamline job task execution and maintain workflow
- Uphold strict adherence to safety standards and job site protocols
- Perform tree trimming, removals, and other related arboricultural services
- Conduct inspections and routine maintenance of tools and equipment
- Communicate effectively with clients and crew to ensure satisfaction and job clarity
- Mentor crew members in technical skills and safety training
- Maintain accurate documentation of completed jobs and safety practices
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a tree climber and bucket operator
- Strong leadership and crew management skills
- Proficiency in organizing job logistics and prioritizing tasks under pressure
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Physically fit and capable of working in rigorous outdoor environments
- CDL, ISA Arborist Certification required, and other related credentials a plus (Traffic Flagger,etc)
- Knowledge of ANSI Z133 and OSHA safety standards is a plus

Work Schedule
- Full-Time, Monday to Friday with Overtime
- Occasional weekends depending on project needs
